PART DESCRIPTION
On each corner of the hood, right under the windshield, is a trim piece made of black rubber & molded plastic, & shaped like a lightning bolt. Functionally, they're not very important, but they are known to become brittle & deteriorate. Their absence then exposes the junction between hood, windshield, pillar, & fender - making your XC70's exterior a bit less cosmetically pleasing.
Our factory replacement parts kit covers both sides & includes the retaining pins. Easy to install! Note: your old moldings may have a foam sponge on the bottom. The new ones won't.
