PART DESCRIPTION
On the 04 model year V70R, the hinged lid of the center console 'storage tray' that sits in front of the armrest is a major weak point. Not only do the sliding tabs on each end break, but the finish on the flip-door cover is prone to scratching & wearing away. Inside the box is a cupholder with rubber tabs that are also known to break off. This new unit addresses all of these issues simultaneously, since it comes as a new cup holder, plastic housing/box, & door all in one.
To install it, you will have to remove pretty much the whole console, so you may want to try your luck at repairing yours first (we do not recommend a used one).
