PART DESCRIPTION

On each corner of the hood, right under the windshield, is a molding made of black rubber & molded plastic, & shaped like a lightning bolt. Functionally, it's not very important, but they are known to become brittle & deteriorate. Their absence then exposes the junction between hood, windshield, pillar, & fender - less cosmetically pleasing, to be sure.

This new factory replacement comes with a retaining pin. Installing the piece is easy. Note: your old moulding may have a foam sponge on the bottom. New ones don't.
