This is a small repair part which Volvo has never offered separately from a complete exterior door handle assembly, yet this little lever on the back side of each handle is the only component that routinely fails. Original levers were plastic coated and had the tendency to break apart, making it impossible to open the door from the outside.

This metal replacement fix which you can now get just by itself will last longer. The piece fits any of the four doors.

Not too hard to install. You will remove the interior door panel in order to take the handle off. Then knock your sliding pin out of the broken lever to separate it from the handle & tap the pin through the hole on the new one to secure it, lining it up the same way when re-installing.
