PART DESCRIPTION
The triangle-shaped tweeter speaker panels that sit on the inside of either side view mirror assembly (on top of the front door panels) are prone to falling off from the combination of aging plastic, door-slamming, & the weight of the speaker magnet dragging them down.
Factory replacements are available as one piece with the speaker included, or just the plastic shell with mesh grill. Looking at the back of your old panel, you'll see that the speaker was originally melted on at the factory, so if you order the cover only, you'll need to first remove your old speaker from its panel by drilling it out, & then attach it to the new one with super glue or by melting it on. If you aren't much of a handyman & want to order this part complete/ready-to-go with the speaker, please email your VIN to us for a quote on the correct one for your particular sound system.
All new panels come with three clips for the pegs on the reverse that secure the panel to the door body. In some cases, three new clips are actually all that's needed to re-attach an old cover that won't stay on, but not if the plastic pegs on the back of your panel are damaged.
